  1. This is an out there response, but as far as I'm concerned, the origins of this virus are as important as the origins of the Zombie Plague in any zombie movie or TV show. Whether the virus came from outer space (Night of the Living Dead) or from some evil corporation (Resident Evil), or some random mutation of a virus (Zombieland), is immaterial as the survivors now have to deal with walking corpses that eat living human flesh. If this virus was man-made (which it wasn't, we can't program viruses to do only what we want them to) would it be materially different than a random mutation to the people trying to survive it? BTW, the US is China's biggest customer, killing us hurts them on a huge scale.
