  1. Diversity of identity isn't nearly as important as diversity of ideas. If I have 12 black people, 8 Asians, 4 Hispanics, and 3 whites, but they all come at a situation exactly the same way, I have high diversity of identity and none in problem solving. If I had, instead, 27 white people, and they all approached situations differently, I'd be accused of racist hiring, but I'd have high diversity in problem solving and would likely find solutions faster.
