  1. Conspiracies are real, they happen every day. But, the likelihood of a secret being held is inversely proportional to the number of people who hold that secret. Two people might be able to keep a secret forever. Two hundred, it's likely going to get out. Two thousand, it's practically a well-known fact. These grand conspiracies, what we usually label as conspiracy theories, don't happen. Too many moving parts, too many people involved, too many mouths to let the secret slip.
