  1. The problem is, while people actually want things that are liberal, we have a media and a congress that pushes us in the opposite direction. Besides, we vote for people, not policies. Even if we vote Bernie Sanders in, doesn't mean his preferred policies will ever become law. Our system is WAY too corrupt for that to happen.
