  1. A proper defense for an innocent person accused of rape would be, "I am not a rapist. I would never rape someone." Now, a guilty person might say the same thing falsely, but they wouldn't say, "I wouldn't rape her, she's not my type," because that suggests he WOULD rape someone who IS his type.
