@superblump87 Not getting the premise. Helmets cannot be made so good they stop the brain from being slammed around inside the skull. They would effectively need to stop momentum inside the skull, which is a physical impossibility. The old-style leather helmets were MUCH safer because they didn't give the wearer the illusion of safety such that they would run full tilt at a wall of flesh only to be stopped suddenly or slammed backward causing the brain to collide with the inside of the skull.

@superblump87 Sorry, maybe you don't understand biology OR physics. You cannot arrest momentum with a helmet. It protects your skull from breaking, but without a complete overhaul of physics, the momentum of your brain will continue until it collides with the inside of your skull. You show me a helmet fitting over the skull that will prevent movement inside the skull without penetrating the skull and likely doing Far more damage.

We need more trees and fewer people. There isn't enough land space on Earth to plant enough trees to offset the amounts of carbon we are pumping into our atmosphere. Fewer people means fewer resources being consumed and easier likelihood of repairing the damage.
