So, we DON'T need government to fix it, because we should be taught how to suss out the truth in school... The problem isn't the news, it's the systems, so it's too late for the government to fix. Um. What? Schools and the system of which we pay for and regulate education isn't a business practice (unless you go to private school), it's a government issue. I just don't believe you thought what you said all the way through. Plus, putting teeth into libel and slander laws, holding "news" sources to account for misinformation would certainly help. Would I trust THIS government or even the Democrats to do that? No, because they would abuse the shit out of it.
