  1. The religious argument that murder isn't wrong without God is absurd on its face. Murder is defined as a wrongful or illegal killing. You might argue that there would be no murder as all killing would be acceptable without God, something that wouldn't be born out by evidence, but it'd be a far less absurd argument. And to suggest that the God of the Bible is against murder is, likewise, totally absurd. He tells his people to sack, and murder entire cities. They might argue these people are wicked, but their idea of wickedness is just not believing in God or being in the land God claims for the Israelites. That's also morally repugnant, because it makes everyone a target for murder.
