  1. We need to train ourselves to ignore polls entirely. At best, they are relatively accurate samples of a singular moment in time and very much subject to change. At worst, they are completely misleading and wholly inaccurate. News outlets love their polls because it sounds like real information, but it's never anything more than wish casting.
