  1. Trump won last night's debate. Why? Because instead of pulling together and displaying a united front with shared policy ideals and a strong opposition to Republican nonsense, they tried to climb all over each other trying to prove that they, individually, were the only one that will be able to defeat Trump. It's going to get them creamed when one of them managed to emerge as the frontrunner. These cut-throat debates serve only to upset voters when their preferred candidate doesn't win and sow the seeds of resentment against the one that does. For a current example, look at Bernie Sanders voters 2016. The majority either stayed home or voted Trump (more the former than the latter). If this happens again, we're screwed.
