This is common sense. No, I don't mean that is a positive manner. People say common sense, meaning it's something that is obvious and we should all do it. But common sense is what people think without any evidence or explanations. Thinking that, if the wind isn't blowing, the turbine won't produce electricity is very common sense. It requires NO understanding of how these devices work. When people refer to common sense, something positive that is beneficial to many if not all people, they're referring to practical sense, something that is practical and has been given a great deal of thought with research and understanding. In that respect, "common sense" is not common at all.
