This is a good thing. When the man ignored reality and then got sick, maybe he could have survived and convinced a few people to get the vaccine and listen to the medical community, but it wouldn't have been as many. Dying from the disease changes him from a potential advocate to an already skeptical community to an object lesson. That will convince far more people to protect themselves with masks and vaccines.
