  1. Vegans who keep cats are ideologically foolish. You're entire raison d'etre is to prevent cruelty to animals, and factory farming is horribly cruel. You won't slaughter an animal to eat it, even by proxy, but you'll do so to keep a cat fed? Also, you should always keep your cats indoors. They don't need to explore, they need to live, and going outdoors exposes them to elements, disease, predators, and automobiles that can run them over.
