This is something I've been wondering lately. Why is it that the presidents that were assassinated were generally good presidents? I mean, I can't speak to McKinley or Garfield, but Lincoln and Kennedy were terrific presidents. There was quite a lot of fear over Obama being assassinated. Why don't we ever see the awful presidents have assassination attempts (outside Regan)? I think someone would have tried a "second amendment remedy" on president jackass.
