  1. Magical thinking, the market is a living, breathing entity that needs to be left alone or it dies! What nonsense! The question isn't socialism versus capitalism, it's what parts of our society needs to be run by socialism and which parts need to be run by capitalism? An all or nothing solution is a stupid idea, all socialism or all capitalism, doesn't matter. Plus, not regulating won't make things better, finding creative solutions to deal with regulations often creates new and better products all by itself. Anyone who's against regulation in toto needs to scarf down a bucket of Pink Slime and proclaim it to be perfectly reasonable to consume.
