  1. I get frustrated at the people attacking Joe Biden for his handling of the Israeli\Palestinian conflict. He's not committing a genocide as he's not in charge of anything over there. Neither is he supporting one as he's doing what he can to diffuse the situation. If anyone in this situation is genocidal, it's Netanyahu. We can't just take over Israel and denying them aid won't actually diffuse the situation either. The only way we can exercise any sort of diplomatic control over there is by continuing the aid and putting pressure where we can. It's a godawful nasty mess over there and none of it is Joe Biden's fault.

  2. Race is a fraught subject to begin with. What is a white person? Well, wasn't all that long ago Italians and Irish weren't considered white, now they are. Are Jews white? Depends on who you ask. There's a reason the subject is so murky, and that's because race is almost entirely a social construct. I say almost because there are some very obvious differences between different clusters of people. Someone from sub-Saharan Africa is obviously someone different from Western Europe. Genetically, however, the difference between both groups is negligible almost to the point of indistinguishable.
