  2. "Would you want to change your color?" What? I don't know anyone of any color that would really want to snap their fingers and become a different color. Not black, not white, not Asian nor Hispanic. The people who would, I would wonder if they aren't like the Rachel Dolezal's of the world who fetishize a different race. I recently found out I have one black ancestor some ten generations back. My reaction was, "Really? Okay. Interesting." I wasn't proud nor was I ashamed. It's just something I didn't know about my heritage. We have to stop focusing on race or racism will just keep sticking around and become ever more fetid and toxic.
