  1. My understanding (which I admit may very be faulty) is that transgender people represent 0.1% of all people. In a nation of nearly 350 million people, is still 350,000 people. We don't make laws only for the majority. We don't make laws only for the minority. We make laws respecting all people's rights. The fact that the right has focused on trans people is alarming, because if they can take away their rights, they can take away YOUR rights.
