  1. DeSantis is going to do anything and everything to get GOP attention but it's damaging Florida. Thing is, should his plan be successful and he goes on to higher office, he'll leave Florida in ruins but not have to deal with it himself. Any politician that ruins his or her state should be forced to live in that state and deal with the consequences or actively clean it up. No one should reward such despicable behavior.
