  1. I was going to say, "not with that attitude," except, it's not only those of us seeking to mitigate or rid ourselves of racism we have to deal with. It's the avowed and proud racists that are keeping it alive.

  2. One of the hallmarks of a pseudointellectual is presenting partial information to bolster your beliefs or ideology while ignoring the rest. Studies, quotes from famous thinkers or books, news information, that sort of thing. I have no doubt Kennedy here read some study that suggested that our differentially attuned brains are the general cause of racism but didn't really comprehend or digest the whole of that study. He saw what he already believed and ignored the rest, probably even unintentionally. A real intellectual is always questioning their belief structure and seeking to refine their knowledge to be as in line with reality as is possible.
