There's a MASSIVE and fundamental difference between a president sending troops to stop a threat (real or imagined), or sending in police to quell violence, scenarios that end in death and a dictator killing off dissidents to secure personal power. One has a spattering of blood trying to secure the common good, the other is bathing in innocent blood all for the lust for power.
