  1. When I had my first set of wisdom teeth out (left side top and bottom), my dentist (also my uncle) handed me a prescription for Tylenol 3 (Codeine) to manage the pain. He put the script in my hand and then put his arm around my shoulder and told me not to take them unless I was in horrible pain, and that I shouldn't need more than two total the entire time I was healing. I took only one, and I felt like my head was floating off of my body. The rest of the prescription went back to a pharmaceutical disposal place.
