  1. "Do your research!" I HATE this phrase. It's the lazy way of saying, "I don't want to explain why I think the way I do, I want you to look up my arguments." Not only that, but it's not research, it's confirmation bias. The internet was meant to be this amazing new Library of Alexandria with a great amount of information at our fingertips and we turned it into a misinformation and porn machine.
