If we did a financial poll of every senator and congressperson, wouldn't we find they're all fairly wealthy? You can't even run a serious campaign in congress anymore without two tons of cash to burn. Maybe some have figured out to benefit from the corrupt system to get in and then do what they can to repair it from within, the only place you CAN fix it. Not sure if I really like Bernie Sanders or all his policies, he showed a lot of weakness allowing BLM to take his mic away during a campaign stop and let them do it. But, if it's a run between him and Trump, I'd vote for him faster than a heartbeat, but I'd also vote for a chicken sandwich if it was running against Trump at this point. His financial situation is no reason to not vote for the man, especially when his opponent would be likely the wealthiest president we've ever had.
