IN prison... Now, if someone has served their time and is willing to demonstrate they've reformed, I'm perfectly willing to return their right to vote to them. There's a reason people who break laws are segmented from the rest of society and why they generally have fewer rights, at least while in prison. If this is more an argument about who we put in prison, why they get put there, and the generally bad idea of the for-profit prison system, these are great conversations. We've generally screwed up prison today and it needs reforming, but the idea that someone with the general ability to commit a felony, that has this level of disregard for society, should have a vote that counts equal to a healthy and productive member of society is not a good idea AT ALL.
