  1. I have one problem with your proposal. You think it would make every state competitive, but it would draw undo attention to those states, effectively altering campaign focus from the current swing states to the new states holding the Electoral College hostage. Maybe long-term it would result in the abolishment of the antiquated Electoral College, but I don't know.
