  2. I heard work from home being likened to VHS. Movies used to be only seen at a theater. If you didn't see it when it was out, you either had to hope some local theater might show it or wait for it to be broadcast on television. When VHS came into being, people just used them to record TV and watch it later, then movies started to be put out on video. Trying to force all workers to go back to the office is like trying to force people to never buy or rent home video ever again. The genie is out of the bottle, you aren't putting it back.
