@Trav990 No, he shouldn't. I'd have liked him as president, but he didn't have nearly as much support as his followers believed.

Third-party voters always seem to think this time will be different every four years. One, it's not going to happen. This is a duopoly. You might be able to get smaller offices filled with a third-party candidate, but that's always one voice among many. If a third-party candidate ever did manage to get into office, they'd be an instant lame duck as both parties would see them as a threat to their power and stop their agenda cold. If you don't like the current duopoly, the best you can do is vote for the democrat or republican that closest matches your viewpoint and then organize to push them in the direction you want within the party.

@Trav990 He's more consistent at least. And, at least as far as I can tell, his moral compass points more north than most other politicians.

@Justin33443 I blame them for stealing votes from a terrible, but still reasonable candidate and allowing an absolutely evil candidate to take over and stab this nation in the guts. Clinton might have been a bad candidate, but Trump was and is objectively evil. The green party has no institutional power. Their candidate was never going to win. While Clinton won the popular vote, it would have taken less than 1% of voters choosing her over the green party to have swung the electoral vote for her and we would have avoided the man who fomented an insurrection and attempted a coup that, might I add, is ongoing. If the green party had any integrity at all, they'd join the Democratic party and do all they can to change it from within. THAT'S why I blame the green party and their myopic voters.
