They're upset at Nikki Hayley because they really see Donald Trump as the only viable candidate (mostly because of the extremely vocal MAGA faction) and her staying in instead of dropping out to support their dear leader is causing him real damage. Damage that will absolutely affect the 2024 election. The bloodier Trump gets from his left and his right, the less likely he's going to win. An addict will find any pretense to feed their addiction. Their drug of choice is power, and they see it being taken away.
