  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of progressivism to not have A strong leader, but a group or, indeed, the movement itself lead? The issue with conservatism is reliance on the strong man. The issue with liberalism and progressivism is trying to emulate the same for the sake of pulling in the center. If we really want to progress, we need to progress pas the idea of the strong man (or woman) leader.
