  1. They've been in attack mode against Biden for too long. They can't give it up. The whole reason Republicans attack Democratic presidents is because they want to sully their chances of being reelected. They're putting all their energy into attacking a man who is president but now isn't running. The phrase is beating a dead horse. They're such losers they need a victory, ANY victory at all, or they feel small and weak, which they are.

  2. Oh, yes. This is a great plan... For the Democrats! Force Biden out as president. Have him resign or enact the 25th amendment, whichever. NOW, instead of having a soon-to-be former vice president candidate as your opponent, you now have an incumbent president as your opponent. Never interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake, and their advocacy of taking down President Biden is a MASSIVE mistake.
