Jeanine Pirro becoming a judge reminds me of the show Night Court and how Harry Stone was appointed as a judge. He said the reason he was made a judge was because he was on a list and, when the judge position opened, they called the first person on that list, who wasn't home. Then the second, same result. He was literally the last person on the list, but because he was home, he was made a judge. It's meant to be funny, because the show was a comedy, but that sounds like how a hack like Pirro can be made a judge.
