The most successful lies have a kernel of truth.

If a man gives you five truths and ten lies, it's important to point out what the truths are and what the lies are. You can't just accept what a man says wholesale just because you agree with one point or another. Even if RFK is right on processed foods, he's wrong on GMOs and seed oils at the very least. Sewing panic alongside good advice is overall bad, especially when panic is not called for in the least.

Well, we have over 300 million people to feed. Totally organic farming can't produce nearly enough food for that many people, not to mention all the livestock. If you want to go to totally organic farming, we're going to have to have less than a third the number of mouths to feed.

The issue is the bunk. The truth is hard medicine to swallow but coating it in poison makes it worthless.

@jimohara If I look at smoke billowing out from under the hood of my car, saying it's broken doesn't mean much if I can't tell why it's broken. RFK is just a broken clock here being right twice a day. He's wrong the other 86,398 seconds of the day.

@JM-mz1zj Citation needed on the rejection of US food sources.

Kinda right isn't right, it's wrong with a veneer of truth hiding the poison.

I can agree that ultra processed sugar, corn, and wheat are negatively impacting American's health. Excessive carbohydrates and sugars long have long been shown to be correlate with excess adiposity. Seed oils and GMO demonization is pure weapon's grade disinformation.

@teeminator30 Um, what? You're making it sound like he's endorsing heavily processed food. He's debunking well known lies and disinformation RFK is quacking on about, he also pointed out where he was right, IE, added sugar, telling us he avoids those. If you're going to attack someone, do it honestly.

In and of itself, HFCS no worse than cane or beet sugar. The bad part, and you pointed it out, it's how it's added to everything. Empty calories being added to otherwise nutritious foods is a bad thing. It's the idea that dose makes the poison. If the most you're consuming is one 12oz can of soda, it's not going to be harmful. It's the 50 calories added sugar here, 100 calories there, suddenly you're getting an extra 20% extra calories you're not expecting. About the only thing I can really say about cane\beet sugar is, if we had stuck to using it and HFCS hadn't been invented, the products that have added sugar would be 30% - 50% more expensive, meaning people would likely be seeking less added sugar options for expense purposes.
