  1. I know those Brand Power commercials. It always opens with the Brand Power Logo, a quick tune, and some woman selling a product. They never seem to be related products either. One time will be a laundry detergent the next will be some food product. Looking it up, it's a third-party advertiser that companies can pay to hawk their wares, and they claim to be a product research company. Seems like a conflict of interest. You're not going to be doing very thorough research if you're also being paid to advertise the same product.

  2. It's not hope, it's giving them knowledge of how the system works, and should it fail or be usurped, it's giving them the blueprints for repairing the system later.
