  1. I'm not opposed to the death penalty for violent criminals in principle, though, strangely enough, I AM against lethal injection. It was a sorry attempt to try and kill a condemned man gently, and there is no such thing as a gentle execution. Firing squad, as obviously violent as it is, is MUCH more merciful than running poison through someone's veins. And none of this silly 7 men shooting rifles at a man's heart with one holding a blank nonsense, two in the back of the head is much quicker and much more merciful.
