  1. Businesses make business decisions, not legal ones. Not to say they make illegal decisions, though many do, but they aren't making decisions based on legal precedents or consequences. If a decision makes them money or prevents the loss of money, that's the decision they're going to make. If enough people are turned off by Russell Brand, businesses will put pressure on YouTube to keep their ads off his channel. None of that has anything to do with his actual or perceived guilt.
