  2. It's like someone doing their job and expecting praise for doing literally exactly what he was supposed to. He didn't go above and beyond, he wasn't heroic for NOT committing a coup attempt.

  3. Shame they didn't succeed. I doubt the world we are in now would be the same. If that mob had killed Pence, I sincerely doubt Trump would have survived the second impeachment. Even if he did, it'd be so much harder to deny this was an attempted coup and an insurrection with the blood of the VP on their hands.
