Best advice I ever got concerning religious candidates is, if a candidate tells you they believe in God, you make absolutely sure God believes in them. For me, as an atheist, that basically means don't trust them at all. If there was a just and loving God that cares about all humanity equally, DeSantis would not be his guy.
