  1. When they call themselves law and order Republicans, they're being sincere. They want to be the ones in charge of writing all the laws (being subject to none of them) and enforce their idea of order, which is authoritarian. "Shut up and do what we tell you or we'll destroy you," that's what law and order means to a Republican.
