If party matters more to Republicans than policy, then Republicans STILL need to back Trump's removal. The longer this cancerous growth clings to the party, the more damaged it's going to be in the end. There will come a point where it's way to toxic to be associated with him, but it'll be too late to disassociate then. If the Democrats are smart, they'll tie him around their throat so that when he does go down, he drags their party down with him into the inky blackness.
