This is a book that approves of slavery, murdering people for incidental crimes like picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week, eating shellfish, mixing fabrics, talking back to your parents. It's a horrid book full of lies, bigotry, and insanity. The people who are good Christians, that help people and are kind to everyone are so in spite of their holy book, not because of it.
