Border security isn't the same as building a wall. Unless you can build an indestructible wall that reaches as high as the stratosphere and as deep as the core of the planet, someone is going to find a way over, through, or under it. The cartels build tunnels under it that are quite sophisticated. The only thing building a wall is going to do is make the cost of cocaine go up, which won't curtail or even slow the traffic of drugs and criminals here. We're more focused on the hundreds of people illegally crossing the border than the thousands that illegally overstay their visas because it's an easy itch to scratch and the gullible masses are quickly led, pied piper style, by political sophistry.
