  1. The shame is that voters aren't as informed as they need to be. Add on top of that the American Idol style popularity contest that our election system has become and you end up with garbage candidates promising the moon and not even delivering a pebble they picked up on the parking lot. Who's fault is it? OURS! We keep falling for this stupidity, and because it works, they keep doing it. We need to wise up. Vote for policy ideas, not popular people.
