  1. There isn't a surgeon willing to perform such surgeries on children. Look up David Reimer sometime. There are reasons we wait until adulthood to perform such surgeries and only after psychological examinations. The most any medical professional can or will do to a minor when it comes to gender affirming medical care is prescriptions for puberty blockers, and even then, it's not willy nilly. We just aren't giving cis children surgeries and drugs to change their sex. We aren't even giving trans kids surgeries an only rarely giving them drugs. No doctor wants to be even accidentally responsible for another David Reimer.

  2. The youngest gender reassignment surgery I've ever heard of was due to a horrible combination botched circumcision nearly destroying a baby's genitals and bad psychology theory. David Reimer wasn't trans, and a stupid psychologist convinced his parents that gender was entirely made up and to get their child the surgery and raise him as a girl. We learned a lot about gender because of the tragedy of this person. It's one of the reasons you don't give bottom surgery to a child and only give an adult the surgery after extensive psychological examination. When people talk about gender affirming treatment for children, it's not cutting through flesh, it's letting them wear clothing typical of the gender they identify with and giving them a name that's reflective of their identity.
