  1. People say, "use common sense," interchangeably with, "be sensible," and the two couldn't be further apart. Common sense means things which people hold common. two thousand plus years ago, common sense was that the Earth is flat and the center of the universe, now it's a fringe idea. What we have is entirely too much common sense and not enough actual sense.
