  1. What this guy seems to be suggesting is that an argument in favor of banning abortion should be made law if the religious person making the argument finds a non-religious excuse. That's post hoc rationalization. Even if one can come up with an argument that intentionally excludes religion but is derived entirely from a religious perspective, it is a religious argument, just one cloaked in non-religious clothing.
