  2. Do you remember when the USDA was recommending eating a balanced diet based on the since revised food pyramid? Were police with guns taking away your candy, your ice cream, your cakes, potato chips, or any and all assorted junk food and forcing you to eat what was on the pyramid? A governmental recommendation is just that, a recommendation, a suggestion if you will. At worst, it's a wagging finger scolding you for eating a poor diet.
