This is a country that long has had difficulty separating the actions of one part of a group from the whole group. We're the nation that locked up Japanese Americans, many of whom only knew this nation as their own, because we were at war with other Japanese people. We aren't exactly the brightest of people in this nation. Just because a subset of Group A has done something bad doesn't mean all of Group A is responsible. Learn it, remember it, follow it.
