  2. The right wing in general has long since abandoned reality in favor of an ideological fantasy. The ghost of Dietrich Bonhoeffer is shaking his head. Stupidity isn't a lack of intelligent capacity, it's a moral failure, the choice to believe in nonsense instead of trying to find out what the truth is.
