  1. I hate politics. I follow them, I pay attention to the goings on of politics, but I can't stand politicians. They have to sell a false reality to their voters. The best politicians, the ones who do the most good and the least harm, still have to sell a false reality. The worst ones, the Ron DeSantises and Donald Trumps of the world, bury themselves so completely in fantasy land that they can't tell what color the sky is anymore.
